Integrity Management and Implementation

Advantech’s Code of Integrity Management is published on the company website. The code regulates the Board of Directors, managers, employees, fiduciaries, and anyone with substantial control over operations to be held to the principle of integrity, thereby proactively ensuring a consolidated philosophy of integrity management. The Human Resources Department, Procurement Department, Audit Department, and Legal Department work together to promote corporate integrity management, answering to the Board of Directors. The Legal Department regularly reports to the Board of Directors about their implementation results. Prevention of Insider Trading

Advantech established the Management Guidelines for Preventing Insider Trading as well as the Operation Procedures for Handling Critical Internal Information to prevent insiders (e.g., board members and employees) from using undisclosed information to purchase or sell securities to gain profit. Each year, Advantech uses E-learning to promote online education and training for all employees. Employees are required to read digital teaching materials that promote the prevention of insider trading and educate employees on the relevant penalties. The course content consists of internal critical information, definitions, goals, and legal elements designed to prevent insider trading. This includes information on people who have committed such crimes, abnormal situations, and how violations are handled. Videos are used to provide real cases that leave a deep impression on all employees and board members with regard to the criticalness of internal materiality and the prevention of insider trading.

Human Rights
